    Pay: $65-$75 (W2)/$80-$100 (1099/C2C)

    Location: Remote

    Duration: 3+months

    A Large Mid-Tier public accounting firm is seeking a Banking & Regulatory Compliance Contractor for a 3+month contract to work remotely (Likelihood of extension).  

    Responsible for: 

    • Review existing client products and services to evaluate compliance with applicable laws (TILA, HMDA, UDAAP, FCRA, and Fair Lending);regulations, and best business practices.

    • Identify and assess relevant compliance risks, maintain documentation on those compliance risk assessments

    • Understanding issues involving operational processes related to financial products (Mortgages, Credit Cards, Other Consumer Loans, and Deposits) compliance with regulations and confirm adequacy of internal controls

    • Prepare and maintain records of all work papers completed during compliance reviews.

    • Developing and executing regulatory compliance-related Internal Audits or second-line-of-defense monitoring and testing programs;

    • Write reports to document the compliance review; Prepare and document processes and procedures for program reviews.

    •  

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree 

    • 5+years experience in Banking and Regulatory Compliance

    • Public Accounting or Consulting experience

    • Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRSM) Designation

    • Compliance or Regulatory experience

    • Credit / Risk Management experience

    • Risk identification and audit sampling techniques
