    Our large mortgage client is looking for several technical writers to assist with creating documentatyion guides and policy guidelines. These positions are 100% REMOTE and can extend past the initial duration.

    Responsibilities:

    • Need working knowledge of the mortgage process from end to end; specifically with processing functions

    • Produce high-quality documentation that blends instructional and technical writing, meets applicable standards, and is appropriate for its intended audience

    • Write in such a way that takes technical information that a niche, specialized audience would grasp and make it easy to understand for a broad audience

    • Effectively communicate ideas and concepts to other team members, partners, internal clients, and cross-functional team members, and deliver projects on time

    • Help create and maintain a library of documentation

    • Be comfortable in a fast-paced work environment with frequent changes

    Education and Experience:

    • 2+ years of Mortgage and/or Finance experience

    • Proven experience working in a technical writing position

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Ability to work autonomously and not be micromanaged

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    • Project management skills—use of Asana, Basecamp, Slack, Trello, or alike is a plus
