    Pay: $60-$65 per hour (W2)+1.5x(Overtime)  / $70-$75(1099/C2C)

    Duration: 1 year+(Extension possible)

    Location: Chicago, IL *REMOTE*

    A large public accounting firm is seeking a Sr. Internal Audit Contractor for a 1+year engagement located in Chicago, IL, work is to initially be done *REMOTELY*

    The Sr. Internal Audit Contractor is to provide the client with SOX Readiness assistance. The client is a newly public company with limited available control documentation. Client needs to enhance the existing documentation and create new documentation (as necessary) for the U.S. and in-scope international locations (approximately 8-10 countries). The work will mainly be remote (100% for first few months at least), with possible in-person meetings to occur later in the year - depending on the pandemic.


    This engagement requires an experienced SOX Senior Associate who has at least 3-5+ years of experience. The Sr. Internal Audit Contractor needs to be able to supervise and guide our Associates and Shared Service Center (based in Bangalore, India), lead/conduct client walkthroughs, document processes and controls, execute SOX testing, and participate in regular status calls with the client and financial statement auditor. The Senior Associate needs to have business process (non-IT, accounting/finance/operations) experience.

    Requirements:

    • 3+years Internal Audit/SOX experience

    • Public Accounting or large consulting experience

    • CPA/CIA

    • Working with offshore experience a plus
