    Title: Billing Supervisor

    Pay: $25 - $30/hr. W2

    Location: Sugar Land, TX 

    Job Type: Contract-to-hire Full Time 

    Position Summary:

    The Billing Supervisor will be responsible for leading, managing and mentoring a billing group. As supervisor you will oversee and work with the field and your team to ensure accurate and efficient Customer Billing. The candidate will have a solid understanding of our company business model in the markets assigned and internal overall invoicing process flow in order to provide the best end product to our customers, both internal and external. In addition, the candidate will have a solid and clear understanding of their assigned market requirements and ensure that billing for their team is accurate and completed within the monthly deadlines. The Billing Supervisor will handle all communication regarding any Billing Invoice discrepancies as well as resolution.

     

    Primary Focus

    • Manage 3 -10 billing specialists

    • Coordinate with branch offices and regional FP&A to ensure all billing and collection issues are addressed for their area

    • Ensure accurate and efficient billing invoice creation and distribution

    • Mentor, train and evaluate billing specialists under your direct supervision

    • Participate and support other teams as needs arise in order to meet deadlines and departmental goals

    • Resolve and/or communicate all Billing Invoice exceptions with intention to resolve for assigned customers and FP&A team

    • Oversee and actively manage working knowledge of all assigned Customer Requirements for there are as it relates to billing

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, accounting or related fields highly preferred

    • Proficiency of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Outlook

    • Minimum 3-5 years of business to business billing invoice creation and distribution experience required

    • 2 years' of shared services experience highly preferred

    • Advance Excel skills required
