    ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST (REMOTE)

    Pay: $20-22 (W2) | $32-$36 (1099 / Contract to Hire)

    Start Date: 5/6/2021

    Contract Length:  7 Months. This client is offering Contract to Full-Time Hire.   

    A well-known Facilities Management Company is seeking a highly skilled and detailed Accounting Specialist to support multiple projects, in addition to supporting the Accounting Director/Finance Manager in a staff capacity.

    The ideal Accounting Specialist will:

    • Perform sorting and GL coding for Account Payable invoices from all geographic locations. 

    • Process and file paid invoices and assist with the setup of new customers and vendors.

    • Enter expense reports in Expense Management Systems (Concur) and assist with month-end closing entries.

    • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, responding in a professional, polite and helpful manner when communicating with staff and customers.

    • Perform other duties as assigned, job duties may be modified at any time.

    Qualifications:

    • Associates Degree in Accounting or related field. High School Diploma combined with substantial work experience relevant to role.

    • 3+ years of Accounting experience.

    • Experience with JD Edwards and PeopleSoft systems is a plus.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Experience using Microsoft Word, Project, Excel and Access.
