    Senior Audit Consultant (Financial Services)

    Pay Range: $65-$75/hour (W2)+1.5x(Overtime)

    Start Date: October 2021

    Contract Length: 6+ Months (Holidays off) through Busy Season 2022

    Location: REMOTE (Supporting NYC office)

    A Large is seeking a Senior Assurance Auditor, with Financial Services experience, for a 6+month engagement.

     As a Senior Assurance Auditor (Financial Services), you will:

    • Plan and supervise the execution of all audit engagement activities

    • Review and perform substantive testing on client’s balance sheets and income statements

    • Conduct and review tests to assess deficiencies of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement

    • Play an active role in discussions with the Manager and Partner relative to business recommendations resulting from testing performed and information gathered

    Senior Assurance Auditor Qualifications:

    • Financial Services Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

    • CPA preferred or actively pursuing completion of the exam

    • 3+ years and/or 3 Busy Seasons of experience providing Assurance Audit experience within a public accounting firm

    • Excellent time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem-solving

    • Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability
