    Role: Logistics Analsyt / Material Flow Analyst

    location: Racine, Wisconsin

    Pay: $22 / HR + 1.5x overtime

    location- remote however will be located in Racine Ops, candidates must be local and come into the office as needed



    We are currently seeking experienced materials coordinator to join our World Material Flow (WMF) team. The function of this role is to monitor and coordinate the transportation of production part material orders from the NA supply base and export shipping consolidation center to support global  production facilities.

    The WMF materials coordinator is responsible for supplier communications and follow-up activities to ensure a smooth supply of parts to overseas production facilities. You will support and interact directly with production planners and carriers in Europe, South America, and China, communicating their requirements into directions to the supplier, receiving, consolidation, and transportation contacts. You will be responsible for coordination of pickup of containers/airfreight/trucks at various locations to transportation hubs. You will monitor KPIs every week and proactively focus on supplier, plant and carrier improvements.


    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Manage material orders for multiple plants for different regions

    Proactively gather shipping requirements and pre-arrange shipping modes based on needs

    Determine and direct best shipping method to meet plant production needs

    Expedite past due and short notice orders from suppliers in the appropriate mode

    Communicate order delay/concerns with planners to determine criticality

    Direct inbound logistic and consolidation centers of expedite requirements

    Support and participate in standard practices and process improvements

    Monitor and improve supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    Identify and implement continuous improvement projects (Kaizens) to drive cost savings, process and service level improvements


    The qualified candidate will have:

    Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline (i.e. Supply Chain, Material Management, Logistics, or similar)

    A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar and/or highly relevant role in a manufacturing environment


    The ideal candidate will have:

    Experience with MRP systems and order management or logistics/supply chain experience

    Experience with parts expediting and/or customer service experience

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    Excellent organization skills of email and communication activities

    Works well in a team environment

    Analytical and problem-solving skills

    Comfortable with multi-tasking in various computer systems and programs.

    Confidence using and manipulating data in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate/advanced level.
