    BILLING CLERK | HYBRID I ON-SITE-REMOTE

    • Pay: $20-$40 (W2)
    • Start Date/Duration: 11/17/21 
    • Duration: 3 Months - Contract to Hire (Can convert to Direct Hire prior to 90 days)
    • Location: 3 Days Onsite/2 Days Remote- Naperville, IL

    A Leading Technology Manufacturing firm located in Naperville, IL, specilizing in manufacturing state of the art electronic monitering and tracking devices, is seeking a highly skilled and detailed Billing Clerk to support the Coporate Controller in the Naperville, IL office.

    The ideal candidate will act as billing and account support for the Naperville office and be able to work independently. 

    Billing Clerk Qualifications:

    • NetSuite experience is a must.
    • Detail-oriented, accurate and able to meet invoicing deadlines.
    • Strong Microsoft Access and Excel knowledge.
    • Experience with databases.
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred

    Billing Clerk Duties:

    • Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
    • Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions from lock box and local deposits.
    • Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
    • Create and review customer bills.
    • Maintains records by digitally archiving invoices, debits, and credits.
    • Verifys validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, trade promotions, customer service departments, and from customers.
    • Resolve valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
    • Examine customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contact with collections department.
    • Summarize receivables by maintaining invoice accounts; coordinating monthly transfer to accounts receivable account; verifying totals; preparing report.
    • Maintain a positive attitude about customers.
    • Assist in month-end adjustments of invoices.
    • Other duties as assigned.
