    TAX MANAGER | 3+ MONTH CONTRACT | REMOTE (KANSAS CITY, MO)

    • Start Date: ASAP

    • Duration: 3+ months

    • Pay: Up to $75/hour (W2) (DOE)

    • Location:  Remote (Kansas City, MO)

    A Top Ten Public Accounting Firm is seeking a hands-on Tax Manager to support a variety of projects for the upcoming busy season.

    Contract term is January 2022 - April 2022 - subject to change based on Clients' needs.

    The ideal Tax Manager will have experience with review of various tax returns and coaching of staff. Experience within the construction industry will be given preference.

    Qualifications:

    • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in tax/accounting, or a related field

    • 5-7 years of public accounting tax experience, experience within the construction industry a big plus

    • Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and deliverables

    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate tax concepts to both staff and clients

    • CPA license preferred

    • Familiarity with CCH Axcess nice to have
