    Tax Consultant | 5+ Years Experience | Remote | Full-time

    A large New York based Public Accounting Firm is seeking a full-time Tax Review resource (5+ years experience / Senior or Manager level) for this coming Tax Season. This client has guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week throughout the duration of the contract. Max hours may increase to 60-70/week.

    • Contract term: February 2022 - April 2022, likely to extend

    • Client will interview and hire contractors ASAP

    • Duration: 3+ months

    • Pay Range: $60-$70/hour,  depending on experience.

    • Location:  Remote, supporting office in NY.

    In this role, the Tax Consultant will be working exclusively with Partnerships, Private Equity, Funds Alternative Investment, HNW, and Family Office clients.

    Qualifications:

    • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in tax/accounting, or a related field

    • Recent public accounting tax experience.

    • Experience in prep and/or review of 1065, Sched K-1, HNW, and Partnership returns.

    • P/E, Alternative Investment, Family Office, Hedge Fund, and/or Real Estate tax experience is highly preferred.

    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate tax concepts to both staff and clients

    • CPA is required for review/manager-level candidates.

    • Familiarity with GoSystems in highly preferred
