Job Description:
PeopleCaddie has partnered with a Chicago based client who has the need for a Senior Accountant to assist them with various project on a 4-6 month contract.
This role can be 100% remote.
Major Tasks/skills:
- Assist with month-end close including cash reconciliation, processing commissions, Fixed Asset and depreciation reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation (non inventory) and anything else that needs to be done
- Begin reviewing all leases and and analyze for capital vs operating (ASC842)
- Start reviewing all fixed assets for proper classification and calculate monthly depreciation
- Assist with the implementation of BNA fixed asset software
- Communicate with the plant controllers to obtain additional information as needed
- Other reporting and analysis as needed
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, V-lookups ect)
- Experience working with large amounts of data
