    Sr Buyer | Immediate Need | Remote

    • Pay: $50-$60/hour

    • Location: Remote

    • Start Date: As soon as available

    • Duration: 1+year

    A Fortune 500 Aerospace Manufacturing Organization is seeking a Sr Buyer to act as a Sr Gov’t Contract Commodities Buyer/Planner under the direction of COE Procurement – will review and maintain valid plans of material and manages the supply base vendors to meet customer needs.

    Sr Buyer Responsibilities:

    • Ensures Government compliance throughout the procurement process

    • Coordinates all aspects of the supply chain escalation

    • Quotes deliveries for sales requests

    • Reviews, analyzes & modifies supply based on management requirements

    • Executes and manages NDA’s

    Required Skills:

    • 3+ yrs experience as commodities Buyer/Planner for Gov’t contracts

    • US – BA/BS degree

    • ITAR and EAR requirements

    • Expert knowledge of lot sizing, material, and production scheduling for engineered commodities

    • Expert knowledge of Manufacturing Resource Planning / WISE / Cincom / SAP

    • Excellent project management skills.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Database mining software skills

    • APICS and CPSM/CPM certification / Greenbelt certification
