    Accounts Receivable Manager

    Pay: $30-$35/hr

    Start Date: ASAP

    Contract Length: 3 months (contract to hire possibility)

    Location:  Morton Grove, IL (Hybrid)

     

    Our large distribution client is looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager to assist their team! The office is located in Morton Grove, IL and they are looking for someone to be onsite 3 days a week, the other 2 days remote (initial training will require the consultant to be onsite every day).

     

    The ideal consultant will have previous A/R experience and have prior experience with Janus accounting system.

     

    Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Manager: 

    • Assist team in improving existing AR processes such as billing and collections with the goal of increased timeliness and accuracy

    • Work closely with clients, vendors, sales, and IT to become an expert and leader as it relates to accounting processes

    • Resolve conflicts in the revenue life cycle and customer reporting

    • Ensure all revenue transactions are posted to ERP and properly reconciled

    • Assist with month-end close

    • Complete daily cash reconciliation to the bank

    • Complete statement reconciliations

    • Manage AR team of up to 2 individuals

    Requirements for the Accounts Receivable Manager:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting required

    • 5+ years related work experience (at least 3 in a supervisory role)

    • Excellent communication skills

    • Ability to adopt to high stress environment

    • Previous Janus experience

    • Excellent Excel skills
