    PURPOSE:

    We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our GEM Team, which is responsible for managing profiles of nearly 80 million guests. This data is used by all our internal systems to get a 360 view of our guests.


    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Senior Data Engineer is responsible for support of existing ETL jobs, creation of new ETL processes when required, strong SQL knowledge, creation of SQL queries for data analysis, data troubleshooting, ticket support and some Unix scripting needs.


    EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    • At least 5 years of hands-on ETL experience

    • At least 7 years of hands-on SQL experience

    • Strong, hands-on experience with Unix

    • Proven analytical skills

    • Informatica experience strongly desired

    • Clear communication skills.

    • Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment

    • Experience with Java is a plus.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
