    Our large apparel client is seeking a SOX Inventory Analyst to support SOX monitoring activities during their peak season.  This role will work on-site at the client's third-party logistics provider's (3PL) locations in the City of Industry and REMOTELY. This role may extend or go full-time following the contract.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    SOX Inventory Analyst: This role will be required to perform and document controls that monitor ongoing activities of the Third-Party Logistics firm (3PL) at their secondary warehouse locations, in such a way that mirrors those controls currently performed by the client at the primary 3PL warehouse, for the purpose of achieving compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements.

    Control activities include:

    ? Observations, on a sample basis, of the 3PL's performance of inventory receiving, damage processing, returns processing, inventory fulfillment, and cycle counts.

    ? Performance of independent cycle counts, on a sample basis.

    ? Review of over/short/damaged transactions identified by the 3PL.

    ? Coordination with the Fulfillment Director on the Analysis of 3PL cycle count results and the Damaged Inventory Analysis.

    ? Documentation of all control activities in prescribed templates.

    ? Daily reporting to the SOX Inventory Manager on the performance of controls, deviations noted, or any expected delays.

    The SOX Inventory Analyst will report directly to the Senior Director of Fulfillment.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

    ?  An understanding of SOX inventory controls

    ?  Strong analytical skills

    ?  Outstanding organizational skills

    ?  Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS)
