    ROLE:

    Application development using industry-standard tools like React, Node.JS, Restful API, Postgres

    Working closely with the product and design teams and junior developers

    Jira, Confluence, Jenkins,Stash Git/Bit Bucket experience

    PURPOSE:

    We are looking for a Frontend Development Lead for our Colleague Advantage Web Application. This position will be responsible for hands-on development, as well as mentoring and reviewing code from team frontend developers. The position is responsible for support of the application as well as ensuring that enhancements are developed in a way that meets the needs of the business requirements.


    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Frontend development

    • Code reviews

    • Mentor junior developers

    • System Support


    EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 4+ years experience in Front-end Development

    • Experience in Node.js, building SPA with libraries like jQuery, React

    • Experience with API design and RESTful APIs

    • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and SASS

    • Knowledge of JavaScript best practices

    • Knowledge of git, redis, Docker, webpack, grunt

    • Knowledge of responsive web concepts


    PREFERRED SKILLS:


    EDUCATION:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
