    ONSITE STAFF ACCOUNTANT NEEDED!

    Length: 5 Month Contract - Possibility of Extension or full time offer. 

    Job Description:

    A Columbia based manufacturing client is seeking an onsite staff accountant. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and month end close.

    • Perform reconciliations. 

    • Work within the G/L preparing and entering journal entries and reviewing for accuracy. 

    • Prepare and analyze budget reports 

    • Assist with other tasks as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

    • At least three years working as an accountant using GAAP procedures and policies.

    • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
