    INVENTORY MANAGER | $18-$20/HOUR (W2) + 1.5X OVERTIME|

    Our Lexington, SC client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee our company's inventory control and management processes. The Inventory Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize costs, and maximize profitability. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong leadership abilities, and a proven track record of managing inventory in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Develop and implement inventory management strategies and procedures to maintain accurate stock levels while minimizing holding costs and stockouts.

    2. Conduct regular inventory analysis to identify slow-moving, obsolete, or excess stock, and implement appropriate measures to optimize inventory turnover.

    3. Monitor and manage inventory accuracy through cycle counting, regular audits, and reconciliation processes.

    4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, sales, and operations, to ensure efficient inventory planning and forecasting based on market trends and customer demand.

    5. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, negotiate favorable terms, and resolve any inventory-related issues.

    6. Lead and supervise a team of inventory control staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management operations.

    7. Implement and utilize inventory management software and systems to automate processes, track inventory movements, and generate accurate reports.

    8. Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and demand patterns to optimize inventory levels and improve forecasting accuracy.

    9. Collaborate with the finance department to manage inventory valuation, reconcile discrepancies, and provide accurate inventory-related financial information.

    10. Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory management, such as stock turnover, fill rate, and accuracy, and identify areas for improvement.

    Qualifications:

    1. High School Graduate required. Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred but not required.

    2. Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a managerial role for 1-3 years. 

    3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

    4. Proficient in using inventory management software and systems, as well as Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools.

    5. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.

    7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

    8. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality.

    9. Knowledge of inventory control best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.

    10. Ability to adapt to changing business needs and drive process improvements.
