SENIOR ACCOUNTANT | PAY $40-$50 PER HOUR +1.5X OVERTIME | HYBRID (2 TO 3 DAYS ONSITE)

A high-growth mid-size publicly traded company is seeking a Sr. Accountant to join their team under a contract-to-hire and Hybrid work (2 to 3 days a week onsite) arrangement. The company is located near Lake Forest, IL.

Essential Job Functions

Month-end close, Financial Reporting, Account reconciliations, Intercompany, J/E’s, etc
Ensure an accurate and timely monthly and year-end?close.
State and local compliance matters of the company’s legal entities.
Government reporting
ERP Software enhancements
Interface with external auditors regarding department follow-up inquiries.
Support SOX compliance process.
Variance & Account analysis along with other ad hoc requests.

Qualifications

3+years experience as a Sr. Accountant or Staff Accountant
Public Accounting exp (preferred, not required)
CPA (preferred, not required)
Dynamics 365 (preferred, not required)
