    Restaurant POS Support Technician

    We are upgrading our proprietary restaurant POS systems in all our restaurant locations across various brands. Our main objective is to upgrade our POS systems which is focused on supporting mobile tablet order and payment systems, as well as real-time inventory, shrinkage, and other real-time reporting capabilities.  The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented and possess the ability to understand basic computer technology, restaurant operations, as well as front and back of house terminology. You will be installing, training and supporting our POS customers out in the field and remotely. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds of the Hardware including terminals, monitors, printers, network devices and other small devices. The Ideal candidate would also speak Spanish fluently and effortlessly.

    To be considered for this role you must have a “customer service” mentality and be a strong communicator who is extremely comfortable interacting with restaurant staff, managers and third-party technology vendors as needed. The majority of your responsibilities will be in the field on-site at assigned restaurant locations, in addition to occasional remote post-field support as needed. 

    This is a traveling field position and you must possess a valid Driver's License with no moving violation infractions or AT FAULT accidents in the last 5 years.

    Working hours will generally be Monday through Friday generally from 8am to 5pm in the assigned location(s) time zones. On occasion you must be able to work a flexible schedule with occasional weekend and evening work as well as overnight travel throughout the United States (typically traveling to assigned region on Monday mornings and returning to your home location Friday afternoons.  Flight time WILL be compensated per your hourly rate.

    Education:

    • High school or equivalent (Required)

    Experience:

    • Restaurant POS support Experience: 3+ years (Required)

    • Aloha POS: 1 year (Required) Our proprietary system DASH (Darden Application for Service and Hospitality) was designed based on the widely known Aloha POS systems

    • Fluent Spanish (HIGHLY Preferred)

    License/Certification:

    • Driver's License (Required) with 5-year clean MVR

    Willingness to travel:

    • 100% (Required)

    Other Requirements:

    • Must be willing to undergo a criminal background screen

    • Must be willing to complete a drug screen
