    Finance Business Partner - Surgical Services/Healthcare | Full-Time | $150,000-$160,000/year + Bonus

As we continue to grow and enhance our services, we seek a seasoned Finance Business Partner with a strong background in accounting and finance within the healthcare industry to join our team.

    Role Summary

    The Finance Business Partner will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and operations within the Surgical Division. This position demands a high level of expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis to support decision-making processes. The successful candidate will ensure financial practices are in compliance with US GAAP and contribute to the financial health and growth of the division.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and oversee the division's budget, ensuring alignment with the hospital's financial goals and objectives.

    • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, providing insightful analysis for senior management.

    • Lead financial planning and analysis efforts, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

    • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and other regulatory requirements.

    • Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance and support operational decision-making.

    • Manage and mentor accounting and finance staff within the division.

    • Implement and optimize financial systems and processes, with a preference for experience in EPIC systems.

    • Participate in strategic projects and initiatives, providing financial expertise and guidance.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; an advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.

    • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, with a strong preference for candidates with hospital or healthcare system backgrounds.

    • Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and GAAP compliance.

    • Previous experience in a controllership or senior finance/accounting leadership role is highly desirable.

    • Proficiency in EPIC systems is a significant advantage.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and driving financial performance.
