    DIRECTOR OF FP&A | DIRECT HIRE | $150-$175K (BASE) + BONUS | REMOTE

    Compensation: $150-$175K+Bonus

    A dynamic and rapidly growing $ 70+ million Private Equity backed company operating in a niche segment within the consumer products industry has grown by over 20% annually due to an innovative approach that has positioned them as a market leader in just over a decade. The company serves both business-to-business (B2B) and direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels and as they continue to expand, they are seeking a highly skilled Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to join their team and drive strategic financial decision-making.

    Position Overview:

    The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will play a pivotal role in guiding the financial strategy and decision-making process. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the successful candidate will lead the FP&A function and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide insightful analysis, develop financial models, and drive key initiatives to optimize business performance across varying channels and categories:

    Responsibilities:

    1. Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of the company's financial planning and analysis processes.

    2. Drive the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational plans.

    3. Partner with department heads to track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, identifying areas for improvement and driving actionable insights, then by creative genius draw meaningful conclusions that otherwise are not self-evident and deliver the story concisely and compellingly.

    4. Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and insights to senior management, owners, and private equity firm.

    5. Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making, including scenario analysis, investment evaluation, and pricing strategies for channels and categories.

    6. Support the CEO and COO in evaluating strategic initiatives and opportunities through rigorous financial analysis and due diligence.

    7. Continuously improve FP&A processes and tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

    8. Work with Supply Chain and Buyers on appropriate demand forecasting and pricing strategies

    9. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market factors to provide strategic recommendations and insights to senior management.

    10. Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to drive financial performance and achieve business objectives.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

    2. Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, with a strong background in the consumer products industry, preferably with exposure to both B2B and DTC channels.

    3. Proven track record of financial leadership and strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

    4. Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis, with advanced proficiency in Excel.

    5. Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI, and experience with SQL for data manipulation and analysis.

    6. Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to mentor and develop a team, drive change, and influence stakeholders at all levels.

    7. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and analytical rigor.

    8. Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a remote work environment and manage priorities effectively.

    9. Experience working with Private Equity-backed companies is a plus.
