    Tax Consultant (Sales/Use, SALT) | Immediate Need | 2 Month Contract

    1. Contract Length: 1-2 Months
    2. Pay Range: $70-$90/hour (W2 and 1099)
    3. Location: Remote. Baltimore, MD is preferred


    We are urgently seeking a highly skilled SALT / Sales Tax Manager for a 2-month contract with a leading company in Baltimore. This remote position prefers candidates based in Baltimore and is open to both W2 and 1099 candidates.


    Responsibilities:

    1. Conduct tax research and write memos
    2. Prepare and review State and Local Sales and Use tax returns
    3. Analyze company data for planning and risk analysis
    4. Lead audits and manage various SALT-related issues


    Qualifications:

    1. 5+ years of SALT tax experience, preferably with pass-through entities
    2. Strong deadline management and compliance planning skills
    3. Experience in SALT research and issue resolution
    4. Familiarity with OneSource Indirect Tax Solutions is a plus
    5. Ability to multi-task, handle pressure, and work independently
