We are seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to join our internal Infrastructure and Engineering team at a top-tier public accounting and professional services firm. This is not a client-facing role; instead, you will focus on the design, development, and delivery of internal technology infrastructure solutions that support mission-critical business functions across the firm.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations, and platform teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that drive agility and performance. The ideal candidate will bring deep systems engineering experience, full-stack cloud-native expertise, and a passion for innovation—particularly in AI/ML and Generative AI.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Architect and implement internal infrastructure solutions across hybrid environments (cloud and on-premises).
    • Collaborate with Systems Engineers, DevOps, SREs, and platform stakeholders to design modern, resilient systems aligned with strategic business goals.
    • Lead infrastructure design reviews and ensure technical documentation, workflows, and diagrams reflect production-grade architectures.
    • Support daily operations and provisioning activities related to infrastructure lifecycle management and enablement.
    • Promote best practices in instrumentation, observability, automation, and secure coding across teams.
    • Contribute to engineering standards and governance in areas such as DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud migration, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
    • Engage with internal users and technical teams to identify performance gaps, design deficiencies, and modernization opportunities.
    • Stay current on emerging technologies—including GenAI, containerization, and service mesh—to foster innovation.
    • Advocate for Agile and Lean methodologies in solution design, delivery, and iteration.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
    • 8+ years of experience in systems engineering, solutions architecture, or software engineering in enterprise environments.
    • Proven expertise in:
      • Front-end & back-end frameworks: Angular, React, Node.js, Python, Streamlit, C#, .NET Core, Golang
      • Databases: SQL and NoSQL systems
      • Cloud-native architecture: Hands-on experience with FaaS, PaaS, microservices on Azure, AWS, or GCP
      • Infrastructure tooling: GitHub, Azure DevOps (ADO), SonarQube, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
    • 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing AI/ML and Generative AI solutions
    • Strong foundation in OOP/OOD principles, design diagrams (ERD, DFD, State/Sequence/Activity), data structures, and algorithms
    • Familiarity with enterprise frameworks and methodologies: XP, SAFe, Lean, DevSecOps, SRE
    • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional discussions and translate business needs into technical solutions
    • Passionate about technology, solution quality, and driving outcomes that simplify and modernize legacy systems
