    Title: Workday Finance Manager (Contract)

    Location: New York, NY (Onsite/Hybrid)

    Duration: 8 months (Mid-September start)

    Client: Global Consulting Firm

     

     

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Finance Manager for a Large Public Accounting Firm's end client. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining continuity for the Workday Finance (FINS) modules, ensuring seamless operations, and supporting the team through this period of transition.

    The ideal candidate is a STAR performer—someone who can step into a high-visibility role, adapt quickly, and balance both strategic support and operational execution.

     

     

    Key Responsibilities

    Primary Ownership: Lead coverage for Workday Finance (FINS) modules (not HCM).

    System Support: Collaborate with the existing team to support multiple integrated systems.

    Knowledge Transfer: Participate in KT sessions prior to the resource’s leave to ensure a smooth handover.

    Continuity: Provide consistent oversight and execution during staggered leave coverage.

    Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a reliable partner for business leaders, providing timely updates and solutions.

    Execution & Strategy: Manage both day-to-day operational tasks and broader strategic initiatives within Workday Finance.

     

     

    Qualifications

    4+years exp - Workday Financial Module Expertise: Strong, hands-on experience with Workday Finance (FINS) modules.

    Adaptability: Ability to step into a complex environment and quickly ramp up.

    Collaboration: Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Problem-Solving: Proactive and resourceful, capable of resolving issues independently.

    Leadership Presence: Comfort in a high-visibility role with executive-level exposure.

    Willing to go onsite in New York (Manhattan)
